Arhat
A combination of various printing techniques, including pigment, lino and screenprinting creating a rign pallette of layers.
Arhat: (Sanskrit: “one who is worthy”) , Pali arahant, in Buddhism, a perfected person, one who has gained insight into the true nature of existence and has achieved nirvana (spiritual enlightenment). The arhat, having freed himself from the bonds of desire, will not be reborn. The idea came to me from something a dear friend said to me: 'I used to feel like I had to fight for everything, but now I feel at peace. I guess I will not be coming back this way again, so now it really feels like I am on my way home'.
